COEFFICIENT OF PERFORMANCE PREDICTION BY A POLYNOMIAL MODEL OF ABSORPTION HEAT TRANSFORMER

  • A polynomial model was presented in order to predict the coefficient of performance with a determination coefficient of 0.9919.

  • This work aimed to present a methodology that provides a simple solution for the analysis of a heat transformer.

  • The operation variable with the largest contribution to the determination coefficient is the absorber pressure.

  • The polynomial model was compared with an artificial neural network reported in the literature.

  • The polynomial model could be used to assess in the heat transformer technology integration in chemical industry.
